Celebrate
Your Wedding
at Grace Episcopal Church

Central Downtown Location

Grace Episcopal Church is a beautiful Gothic Revival-style building started in 1855 by the oldest congregation in the city. It is situated on the Capitol Square in Madison, Wisconsin, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

As part of vibrant downtown Madison, Grace is across the street from the State Capitol Building, and close to the Monona Terrace and Lake Monona, the Overture Center, State Street, and the University of Wisconsin, as well as numerous restaurants, hotels, and reception venues. Our central location, architectural beauty, and English-style courtyard garden provide a pleasant ambiance and exceptional photographic opportunities to capture the essence of your downtown wedding.

Anyone is welcome at Grace Church

Grace Episcopal Church welcomes all. You are not required to be an Episcopalian or to follow the Episcopal Marriage Service in order in order to hold your wedding at Grace.  Same-sex couples are also welcome to hold their ceremonies here.

“Pat was a ‘godsend!’ Without her expertise, thoughtfulness, assistance and time, whether to meet at the Church or answer countless emails … this special day would have fallen short. …that, combined with the beauty of Grace Church, is a combination no parent nor bride and groom should
go without!”
